You can report a hate incident or hate crime through the Hate Incident Support Service (HISS), delivered by Victim Support Sussex. Specialist caseworkers offer:
- Trauma‑informed listening and validation
- Practical advice, including safety planning and support with community concerns
- Information on your rights and guidance on next steps
- Support for both victims and witnesses
- Coordination with partner agencies
- Assistance regardless of immigration status, including situations where the victim does not wish to report to the police
- Support at any stage - immediately after the incident or later on
